ive been skiing on this full tilt konflict for this entire ski season and never really paid any attention as to how much ware and tear i was putting on the boot. most of the use is just cosmetic, scuffs and shit, but my toe piece doesn't look like its in such good shape. on my left boot, the left corner of the toe piece is starting to slightly become rounded off as you can see in the picture. Not enough to affect how i ski, but im worried that in the near future, it will be. i never hike in my boot, but my local ski shop did a poor job on mounting my marker griffons on my park skis, Surface Blanks, not setting the forward pressure correctly. however, i fixed it. my only concern is that i wont be able to get 2 or more seasons on this boot ( typical time period for my gear before i get new gear.) any thoughts???
Looks fine. And if you walk around on concrete and through the parking lot that's where most of your damage is coming from. Once your boot is in the binding it doesn't recieve that much wear and tear.
All shops have a toe/heel DIN indicator which they can see if your boots are still within the norm (proper height, radius, etc). If you're ever unsure, just take them in and they can check it for you in 5 minutes.
