I got like two feet, and I'm out on cape cod. I build a lill kicker over a wall and and hit it all morning, even with the turrible wind. Its a gas. Just praying for this school cancelation to hold out for another day or two. Leaving thursday night for the mountains. Skiing will be fucking dope this weekend.

got two, almost 3 feet here. took me 45 minutes to go 200 vertical feet on xc skis and it was up too my knees in some spots.

Dude I was out there before any avy control and the crown was 200 feet tall and it slide out beneath me no way I would have survived without my airbag and beacon and level 69 avy training. Also survived because I have kinco gloves

We did get some and I set up my little rail thing but it was nowhere near the amount they forecasted. The front page story on bbc news is "US admits snow forecast errors."

they are hyping it up as a pow day tomorrow so I hope not, it'll be tracked out by 9:30 anyways though. Can't wait regardless.

Just drive to Shawnee Peak tomorrow like I am. Its gonna be tight. They are confirming 11 in already. Im in North Conway tonight so its no big deal.

Anyone who wants to rip some dabs in the parking lot at lunch hmu.

I skiied Cranmore today it was OK but I don't trust Wildcat to be any better and Cranmore reported only 3.5 on their website when it was a legit 3-4 inches so Attitash and Wildcat might be lying saying 5-6 its probably the same shit. Driving east is my only option!

Shawnee fucking peak baby! Where I fucking learned to ski tiny hill glad some NSers aside from locals are showing it love. If I was around in Maine I'd be at the River tho...but dabs in the parking lot is whatsup

VT won't get what Maine will this weekend. The storm clips across NY and New England Friday then stalls and intensifies over the Gulf of Maine, wrapping more snow back into the state before moving out saturday morning. Cold air and winds come in behind it.

Haha, a bi-product of my job is that i've learned way more than I need to know about weather predicting. Always trying to see if we're going to get a good amount of flakes or not.

All good man appreciate the weather report. I tend to not even watch weather on TV and just look at the radar's / what NOAA says for predicted snowfall. Can't stand how the weather hypes up storms for ratings and what not.

I do hope your wrong though. Would love southern VT to get squashed

A lot of people (not meaning you) are talking some much shit to the weatherman on FB when the report was all along that the storm might be a bust for the more western areas. So a lot of the weatherman actually called it. The media just hyped it up to make that $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. And people are hassling the NY politicians (not that I support them on other issues) but they have to prepare for the worst or they would get criticized for not being prepared. Tricky situation...

Well it actually just got bumped up a little, the're calling for 3-6 in southern VT now and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. We'll take what we can get!

mhm. I was on like 10th chair and what they didnt groom was tracked out by the time I got too it. The woods and hiking trails were definitely fun though, I became so numb to the feeling of hitting rocks that it became almost normal lol.

Eastern.SkierLeft my skis at the mountain house by accident so I'll be doing a whole lot of building with friends and praying that this isn't the only blizzard this year.

Mass and lower N.H and V.T are going to get another 6-12 on monday and Mass and M.E are supposed to get 3-6 tonight
