.CJ.Screw you east, we haven't gotten any new snow in the past week on the west. :(
no_steezeUnfortunately I'm stuck in RI for this storm so I'll just be drinking and sledding instead of skiing
ForeverYungHopefully I will even be able to make it up to my mountain to reap the goods, is there a driving ban?
mr-mcsteezeok but you guys have a lot longer season then we do and we get one of these storms like once every 5-10 years IF we are lucky
03gadeThe wind is so crazy I doubt many lifts will be running tomorrow anyways, I'm headed to Stratton from southern CT on Wednesday, going to wake up at like 4am to get first tracks.
PULLim still hitting up sunday river. Where will the wind be better? sunday river or sugarloaf, I have a pass to both

last_tangoSunday River. Lift ops pushes wind holds way harder than the loaf dose. I have ran the chondola through some holy fuck shit wind. Ran it at 2.5m/s at 70mph.
1337Your highest lift runs to the halfway point of Sugarloaf. We can run all the lifts below that point, no problem. It's our additional vertical that usually has issues, but also way more reward :)
03gadeWe are talking winds way above your average windy storm here though. I'm no mountain ops manager but I can't see them running in 20mph winds with 40mph gusts. Unless the mountain is sheltered from the brunt of it I guess.
Eastern.SkierLeft my skis at the mountain house by accident so I'll be doing a whole lot of building with friends and praying that this isn't the only blizzard this year.
