So i searchbarred and found one that was troll thread. I figured it was okay to make a new one. But probably not. But whatever.
Heres my setup:
Board: Omen Sugar Kick 39"
Trucks: Caliber 2 50 Degree
Wheels: Abec 11 Freeride 66mm 78a
Other shit: Venom Bushings, Landyatchz Slide Gloves, Bones Super Red Bearings

Haha yeah i ran off the road last year and fell onto rocks and stuff. ripped my face up fairly good.
I have a landyacht switch blade with bear grizzly trucks, Alec 11 no skools forgot what hardness and size because I haven't been out in a while with bones ceramics
i started last summer and had a lot of fun but I didn't have any big hills within riding distance
I have a 1 X 8 X 16 piece of prime American Maple. It is rough cut, kiln dried, and well aged. Burls are evident in the planing. It is a truly excellent long board.
I don't skate enough to justify my collection, but I have an amazon with calibers and abec 11 freerides, busting booombox( the thermocarbon one) with parisa and gravity drifters, and a ripple ridge with polar beats and sstreethawgs

Full face man....worth every penny. My predator boosted my confidence so much. It's nice knowing if you fall your face won't get ripped off.
My setups are a Bustin Royce Pro with paris 42*, and 72mm divine Street Slayers 82a for freeride or 65mm Divine Hearts 78a for downhill. Also my pushing board is an OG Bustin Sportster with paris, and 70mm Bustin premier formula 78a.

got a churchill manufacturing in a 42" with a .5" drop, mellow concave, randal 50 degrees, abec11 72mm offset freerides in a 81a with maintained mini logo bearings. Wheels are really icy for the majority of montana roads. You coleman forever.

I almost bought an ibach. i was close to having one. And yeah venom makes killer bushings. Might look into a full face.

Predators are the way to go for helmets. The TSG one looks good too, but nobody i know has one. But I haven't heard too great of things about the triple 8 full face. Has a few issues.
The Downhill Devision Predator is on sale at Muirskate for $285. Same helmet, just has the DD logo on it.

I have a Sector 9 with sidewinder trucks, it has a ton of pressure cracks probably because I use it as a trampoline time to time. I expect it to snap any day, then I will build myself a longboard.

one of my buddie built one, turned out sick. it was a really long process though. I can barely skate sidewinders though. haha. just can't deal with how responsive they are.
You have to put more pushout into the 80a, but the slides are pure butter. My friend has the 83a though and they can get a bit choppy but they are still really fun.

i got a wolfshark off my friend who rides a ton, and learned last summer /tried getting into it but im so just bad at it ahaha. Still just cruising around is pretty fun

Get some slide gloves and multipule pairs of cheap jeans at goodwill and learn how to coleman and you can go down any hill that doesn't have any traffic on it. You maybe sliding all the time but you can make it down.
