Honestly, what the fuck was he supposed to say, "thank you so much ABM for crashing and letting me in by default?", it's not like ABM was not going to back out just so Nick couldn't. Not sure where all the personal hate on nick goepper comes from. I'm not a big fan of his style but I don't think he's a douchebag because of it, not sure why most people do.
In my opinion, Nick should of made some acknowledgement towards ABM. Nick wouldn't have even "defended" his title if ABM didn't get hurt (heal up soon Alex!).
Gus probably took it a little over the top, but I would've done it as well...
