iskiPC1997Didn't find any threads on this but yeah. I wanna learn cork 5s and have fairly good experience with off axis tricks. I ski switch well enough that i thnk its time to try.
Any tips?
The usa airbag thing is coming to a resort near me but it's hella expensive and you only get so many goes!
Thanks guys
What worked for me was going to an olympic diving pool with the platforms. Get up to the edge of the platform standing backwards and just start doing practicing spins, it will soon become natural to get off axis. I started at the 5 meter. Once you have them dialed start getting higher till youre at the 10 meter. Personally I find switch corks way easier.
Once you plan on getting it on skis, set an edge and slightly carve as pop and start coming off the lip, you only slightly need to drop a shoulder as you takeoff. It takes surprisingly very little force to bring switch cork 5's around.
