do any pros actually use the reactor binding?

do they? i don't think anybody does and it makes me wonder if everybody who bought a pair (like myself) just got sold on the hype that they were perfect and really we are just test dummies for a still sub-par binding.

yea the whole team does i think, dashe is rocking them , so is becker from what ive seen and coker is too....i hope they make it better, maybe then ill buy some

in the LINE add in the last FREEZE with Dash on it...you cant tell the bindings he is using while jibbering the Tree are not the LINE ones.

1) picture is blurred so you cant tell
2) Looks like a look style top piece
3) where the LINE binding mounts on the ski is 1/2 on the white and black of the chronic while the look ones he is using are totally mounted in the black and the LINE bindings dont adjust that far

umm yees people do ride them and yes the do have problems. my advice: dont get them fo about 2 more years so they can work out all the kinks

have you ever tried them^^^??? they are the best binding ive ever had. they dont feel heavy at all when your riding them, its pretty crazy.

dash's pic in freeskier are salomon bindings in an ad for line skis and bindings. They are def. salomon. Last release of the reactor two years ago pollard is in pics with salo bindings as well, aparantly some team members don't prefer the reactor. Wilson and skogen left for SOME reason. I was sold on them but am glad I never got em. Wilson was on em at the flatirons rail jam that is all I have seen so far this year.

hsfcpro, in case you didnt know mike wilson is off line because they tried to make him ride their bindings instead of his sponsor salomon's bindings, so he left. also i like mine a lot, the only problem that i have had so far is that the toe piece on my right one is a little cockeyed, but it still is holding good, i have no complaints, they seem great to me.

im really not worried about my skis or bindings breaking at all. i got a 2 year warranty. josh at jibij said hell just replace my bindings right away and he'll send my busted ones back to line if they break. line bindings are the safest on the market.

i highly doubt next years LINE binding will look like the LOOK series or w/e.

i REALLY want to get the LINE binding becasue i have had ACL surgery but unless they show that they start to hold up better i dunno.

my theory is that some of hte line bindings were made wrong and others were perfect because mine are just fine and other people just bust right away

i think that whoever said there were some that broke and the rest are good, i think that's somewhere on the right track.

(this is all speculation on my part, so idk if any is true or not) i think the 1st batch for this season got messed somewhere, while the rest were good.

mine from 2 seasons ago are solid, after 2 years of dropping cliffs, tables, rails, switch ejects and the like. i'm sold, and would totally buy another pair, if mine were to suddenly not work.

my one day of experience with line bindings:
-try out my friends for 30 seconds and they prerelease
-the brake breaks on them
-the toe piece becomes movable just by clicking into them. (this is all on the second day of use with them, did not do ANYTHING to cause a break)
fast forward 3 hours
-another kid with reactors falls on an urban rail, the heel piece FLIES off, completely broken off, on a fall that wouldnt have put a scratch on any other binding.
so i saw two pairs of reactors shit the bed in one day, effectively ending two awesome sessions.
and the things are heavy as fuck.
moral of the story is: good idea, but terribly made

i just rode mine today for the first time and they held up, and i purposely beat the living shit out of them. the brakes bent on me though. i landed switch all fucked up and bailed so they released and my backwards momentum bent the bastards right into the ground and i had to muscle them back into place. other than that they worked great and stop complaing about the weight, i didn't notice a god damn thing about the weight. the brakes need work thats my only complaint thus far.

in dash's spread in freeze its a look binding. im 100% positive on that. look at the toe piece then look at the reactor toe piece on the same page. much different. definately a look binding.
