Skiing Help

I can ride down long groomers and go off any jump and land super clean, but I just can never progress in the park. I can't pull myself together to progress even though I want to try one. How can I pull myself together and start being good to park? I know this is hard to understand but whoever helps gets +k

Watch some edits, it will give you ideas on what to try and get you hyped. A lot of it is mental like he said, once you've tried something once you'll wonder why you thought it would be so bad

i get what you're saying. It's like that with me too. but what helps me is playing snow with other people and them pressuring me to do better tricks. Everyday try something new.

Thanks for the tips. I just don't feel like I'm skiing the right way if that makes any sense. like I never take any falls or progress fast enough and I just feel like I don't have the right mindset while skiing. Idk if that makes sense

God damn the title is descriptive.

Seriously tho, listen to whatever music pumps you up. That combined with following some really good people will make you instantly feel good and progress. If you enjoy park skiing and feel good doing it, having fun, then you will start to progress.

Just go out first day and huck a double backflip on the biggest jump you can find. This will mean that any other trick you try will be not even close to as scary as that so you will know it gets so much worse. Please give me K if this helps.

I think I heard this from B-Dog. Just visualize the trick on the way up the lift, then just drop and don't think about it. If you stop before dropping in and over think it you'll get psyched out. Worked wonders for me.

Honestly i was the same as you man, I just tried a few new things. Get a friend to try it with you. Advise if you are starting to learn rails, lean forward a little coming off the jump.
