Replying to Why is MLG in the winter XGames?

I saw a while back that major league gaming (MLG) was going to be in the XGames and I thought it was a pretty funny joke. Then I saw the schedule for the Aspen games today and saw that there's going to be a Counter Strike tournament. I personally think it's funny as hell but I don't understand how it snuck in there with slopestyle skiing/snowboarding, big air, snowmobile racing and all that other crazy shit.
