I will explain further later. but for now all i have to say is it's fucking disgusting that you can't even trust your own friends in this world anymore. my cabin got burnt to the ground last night.

theres no doubt in my mind that i would press charges. its their own damn fault for setting fire to it. charging them with arson would be a very suitable punishment....you cant really kiss and make up over something like this.

No, don't press charges just yet, see if you can get them to rebuild and repay you for everything, that way you will have your cabin back, and won't get people fucked over (even though they deserve to be.) If they don't agree, then press charges.

By the way... Lauren, holy shit. Obviously sympathy won't do much to help, but I truly am really sorry that shit happened. Sounds like some true friends. Why did they do that, anyway? I think what's his name idea of seeing if they'll rebuild it and replace the items lost before pressing charges is a good one. I'd be sooooo pissed if I lost that much. Again, my sympathy, and good luck with everything. That shit seriously pisses me off.

press charges. willful destruction of property, arson, all that stuff. Dont ruin their lives, however. not even that is worth a cabin. Still, if you dont press charges, I would seriously rape their car and threaten to press charges if they tell anyone.

i have a couple of leads on who did it. some kids were missing during the time that it caught fire, and another friend found some stuff in their car that was in the cabin before (a couple of dvds and tapes) no one had heard from them since friday night but i'm working on finding them

that is sooo fucking shitty. god damn, that sucks so bad. definitely press charges. i would go to the cop station right away and let them know. then the fire detectives could come out and they'd question everyone there. the longer you wait, the harder itll be. it's a good thing that didnt happen to me, because if they burned down a cabin with all my music shit, i would seriously kill them. literally.

yea we put in a report and the arson detectives have come to check things out a couple of times. but there's no evidence to accuse anyone. i just wish someone would step forward and take the blame so we could deal with this outside of court. but hey if they don't want to be civil, they don't have to be.
