I think it is important that we all recognize why today is a holiday. Today we recognize one of the greatest Americans to ever live. What he stood for and how he lived is something to be admired. He fought, and died, for what was right.

Today, while youre enjoying your day off, you should think about why you have today off.

I am thankful for Martin Luther King Jr. Without him society would not permit me to be in the relationship I am. She is black and I am white but more importantly we are both people. People who are exacly equal and I love her entirely.

What a douche. Oh look at me! I'm so fancy I have my own special day! Nobody is at work so when poor borty goes to the bank to open up an account he's greeted by a stupid fucking sign saying "We hope you enjoy your MLK day and we'll see you tomorrow". Sure like I really enjoyed walking down to the bank just to read your stupid fucking note. No I'm not having a good time, and I think you should come the fuck back into work, open your stupid fucking bank, and help me open a motherfucking bank account.

What happened to the customer was always right? I'm trying to put my money in your bank but you're all like "look at us and our fancy day off we don't like you and we don't want my money".

I'll show them, I'll walk even further and put my money in another bank and they better fucking take it like I give it!

He was actually the first African American to play Major League Baseball.

To the other guy, im totally being serious. This is one of the few holidays i think is worth celebrating with the likes of veterans day, memorial day and the 4th of July.

And Borty's story was heartbreaking :'(
