Michael_ThatcherA couple things to improve:
Your intro was 1/3 of your video, shorten that up so you don't lose viewers
The edit was super short (~25 seconds of actual riding)
Color grade your footage, everything looks flat and dull. Try boosting the contrast a bit.
DorianFYa it was short, only filmed for a couple hours kinda figured that would be mentioned
As far as color goes what do you suggest I grade it with? I dropped the contrast to be able to see the lowlights without blowing out everything else. The rider was wearing all black and the light was pretty flat for most of the day. Is there another way of doing this in post without losing all the color? Or should I just up the saturation to give it back some "pop"? I messed with contrast a bit but I couldn't add any more without it looking underexposed and dark
Michael_ThatcherThe first few shots were done well. But the shots after the rider passes by the lifty shack could use some work. Not sure what you used for coloring, but look for video scopes and a way to adjust your lift/gamma/gain or highlights/midtones/shadows. If you can find these, try pulling your shadows down a bit to make the blacks more black. Then try pulling the highlights up a bit (without blowing them out).
