Opinions on park ski options

Hey guys, I wanted some opinions on skis that I've been looking at for park.

I've been skiing since I was 4 (23 now) so I'm not a beginner, but I just started doing park late last season/early this season. I'm 6' and right under 160lbs. Just really wanted honest opinions from people who used the models and to tell me the pros and cons or some other insight on what I should be looking at. Currently I ride the Armada AR7 181's and I feel like they too stiff for me. I was looking for a more fun/light ski to progress on. Here are the skis/sizes I was looking at for rails and small to medium jumps:

-K2 Domain 174/179
-Atomix Punx 176
-Line Future Spin 174
-Line Traveling Circus 171/178

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Going off your height and weight I'd recommend the longer versions of every ski you listed. But are you sure you want a full cambered ski? just from what you described, small/medium jumps and rails, it seems like a rocker/camber/rocker ski might be better for you, (chronics, head oblivions, armada bdog) as they tend to be softer and more forgiving/playful.

Well tcs are soft and buttery but have heard they kinda suck so. But yeah a slight rockered ski would be better based on what you described, also dont listen to this guys post about length, if your a begginer park skier shorter is better to learn spins and easier to manuver around so not a bad thing.

Yea, I read a thread about the camber vs rocker argument. People say the rocker/early rise is awful for big jumps but I don't see myself going that big until I do eventually have to buy another set of skis or even go back to the AR7's. I will definitely look into the listed skis by Marrow. Since you mentioned the rocker/camber/rocker, I'll lose effective edge and in turn make a longer ski feel shorter. Should I stick to a size closer to 180? I feel like I would lose too much edge if I go shorter and R/C/R.

The skis I listed have comparatively subtle rocker, so you wouldn't lose that much. Learning to ski park on short skis could hurt your technique in the long run, in my opinion. At 6 foot 176-180 is pretty standard.

That's perfect. I ran into a guy today who rode a 166 at my height and I was so thrown off and confused that I had to come here and find out what you guys thought of the ski sizing. That's why I originally listed the shorter ski lengths.

Honestly 170-180 is fine but leaning toward the upper side
