Do Trex plastic decking boards work good for rails?

There is a whole pile of Trex boards at my house from a renovation a few years back, and I am considering making some rails/boxes with them. Does anyone know how well they slide? Are they easy to catch your edges on?

only for wakeboarding are they good to slide. Ski edges go straight into Trex

You'd be better off building a wooden rail

Just use your dining room table, makes a sick box and looks cool too

Not really. Would it work better than sliding a plain 2x4? Yeah probably. I've used it for staircases in the park before but that wasn't really for sliding that was more for impact resistance.
