So my mountain recently opened up an awesome rail garden, and every single rail is urban on. I've done urban on rails before, but I was trying to teach my friend and found out "Gee, how on earth do you actually do it?"
Here's my conundrum:
I'm not sure which way is the proper way, doing a step-on or a jump-on. Not sure if that's an official term, but to me an my buds, step-on is where you come up to the rail, and put one foot on first, almost like stepping onto the rail from the side. Jump-on is where you come up to the rail, carve up, jump on and ride it out.
Would it be bad to try and learn tricks with a "Step-on"? Could this be considered noob technique? I know it sounds like i'm over thinking this, but I was just curious to hear what you guys think
