I need your advice! Please help

I got tw full tilts for x mas, they were bought online, I tried them on a few times and they fit pretty good right out of the box. I took the tags off, skied them the following weekend, and now have no idea what to do. I am now realizing they are a tad too big for me. What do I do? I can't return them because I don't have the tags, And I never saw a boot fitter, so I'm basically fucked. so what do I do at this point?? Btw Im 16 size 10 shoe, the boots are a size 28.0. Please help (I know this is kind of a repost)

The thing is I don't even know if they are too big. They feel tight But I just don't know how my foot should feel inside the boot.

Push your toe to the end of the boot, you should have an inch of space behind your heel, that'll tell you that they fit properly

Probably too big. I'm a size 10 shoe and wear a 26.5 full tilt. There isn't a ton you can do. Footbeds can take up some room, j bars around the ankle will help keep your foot locked down, but if it's too big it's too big

That is totally incorrect.

Having an inch of space in your shell is way too much. At most, for a comfort fit, you would want 3/4's of an inch. Mind you, that's for a totally casual comfort fit. If you're going for a performance fit you want somewhere around 1/4 of an inch.

Dont by boots online. Go to a boot fitter OP, they can get you set up properly. Assuming what you have currently isn't way oversized a good boot fitter can probably get things worked out for you.

I'm a size 10 and 28 works fine for me. I would just appreciate the fact that you'll have some kickass boots for the next few years.

I'm size 10 shoe and I wear 25 shell with 26 liners. properly fitted boots allow for a more direct transfer of muscle movement to ski movement. skiing with boots that are too big is wasting energy that could have been used to flex or spin.
