So, I currently have a couple of rails in my yard, and really wanted to make a fairly good sized jump. I have the space, but I can't get the speed to hit a jump and even have some trouble on longer rails. So, what are some cost effective ways to get speed in the yard? I know about the bungee banshee, but I just don't have $150 to spare. Also, I would much rather not build a drop in. So, what are some ways to get speed in the yard, preferably using household materials? Thanks guys.
get bags of salt and throw that on the spots where you want more speed. be careful though because it makes it really icy and hard (dont throw much in the landings, if any)
You gotta deck with stairs? you can use that for some speed, otherwise youll need a bungee or drop in. And a bungee will need a few people to help pull it back
If you don't use poles I would use poles obviously, but it sounds like you need a drop in because unless you have a bungee at your house. You can also just buy some bungee and make a homemade one for pretty cheap. It wont work as well as a banshee bungee but it is better than nothing.
