How many of you have jobs in the ski industry? Personally I wax and repair peoples skis and boards in my garage for a little bit of extra money. What kind of jobs do you do?

part-time patroller.

I've spent about 10 years in the ski industry, from lifty to terrain park manager. But I finally went out and got a real job full-time now. Couldn't completely leave the industry though.

I worked my way up. Started working park crew at 18. 19-21 I was the Marketing Assistant and Events coordinator and then 21-Current I am still the Park Manager.

Im a part-time ski salesman at my local shop and if you work hard and work there for some time you can move up and become a buyer or manager of some sort.

We coach kids and try our hardest to keep the fun in the sports that are rapidly becoming to serious for their own good. It's actually a pretty difficult balance because so many parents want to send their kids to a "mini olympic training center" and we are just trying to instill a passion for the sports so the kids keep doing them.
