Nordica Ace's skis

I don't see a lot of them and I am wondering why. I own a pair and absolutely love them. Did nordica just not distribute them or?

THe ace is Nordica's comp ski. In the past they focused on comps and pushed that ski for the competitors to use. Once they changed their image (for park), started pushing the soul Rider and OMW, which are both more friendly skis for the average park skier. The style of their new team also compliments the Soul Rider and OMW more. After seeing Lupe Hagearty on the Aces, They probably want a bit of a resurgence for the ski, because in all honesty, it is one of the best skis out.

I own the Ace's, and I think they are a ski that will work better if you know exactly what you want, and the Aces fit your bill.

They're a symmetrical, park oriented ski that's built like a race ski and has a price tag to match.
Not many people want to buy a premium-price ski and then smash it to bits on rails.

If you want even more weirdness go look at the dimensions of the 170 versus the 177 and 184. The 170 is not a true twin, it's directional. I've seen some weird things with resizing, but I've never seen that before.

They have been using same molds for the shorter aces and omw (or the dead money earlier), with different materials on the ski itself (ace having metal laminates and stuff). The longer lenghts have always been symmetrical. Kinda whack in a way but the Ace is a kick-ass ski nevertheless
