Ahhaha oh yeah. I've been on them too for a short run and I like ld that short run. They use pretty durable materials and I don't think shin-bang is having any problems(I know him personally) but he will definetly be here for a response!

sup, so ive been riding the rayzrblaydz, which is basically the park version of the layzrs. the layzrs have slightly thinner edges than the rayzrs, which are 2.1mm compared to the rayzrs 2.5 by 2.5 with 1.8mm 4001 bases. the bases are super hard and super fast. ive been super impressed. so will you be hitting a ton of rails? or just he occasional park lap? if your hitting a few rails i would go with the Rayzrblaydz. durability wise, i havent had any problems. the topsheets to chip fairly easily, but dont let this shy you away from getting either of these skis. i beveled the topsheets with a palm sander (basically rounded the edges of the topsheet with a sander) and it has helped TONS. i recommend doing this with any sandwich type ski. edges are super thick, havent had any cracks, bases are super hard and fast, and my rayzrs are super damp when going mach 10 when taking hot laps. (the rayzrs) kill it everywhere being center mounted, even in 12-16 inches of pow. the flex is perfect for me, medium in the noses, stiffer in the tail, so super stable and fun to play around on (when my shins allow me to) -long story short-- super durable, super good customer service, super killer skis. if you are riding rails i would go with the rayzrs instead of layzrs. but either way you wont be disappointed with kitten factory. {my usage recommendations lol } all mtn>than park = Layzrs all mtn = park or park > all mtn

I wish the sizes werent so weird. Is there a reasoning behind the 173 and 183 on rayzrblaydz? I feel like most people prefer a park ski in the 178 area

We are still a small company and building all of our own skis, so time is very hard to come by. We will definitely add more sizes to our lineup as we continue to grow, but for now we are just trying our best to cover as much of the size spectrum as we can with the resources and time we have. Also, all of our skis are measured flat base. So our 183 cm Rayzrblaydz are a 181 cm straight pull with a good bit of rocker. It's not too far off from a 178.

i specifically went kitten factory because they made a longer rockered park ski thats bombproof. (im 6'1/6'2) but the real question is how tall are you? and as kitten factory mentioned the actual tip to tail pull is 181 with about 30cm rocker. so most people could either size up or size down and be perfectly fine.

Im 5'10. I know i could ride the 183 fine... im past the point of doing a bunch of switch ups and that stuff anyways. I was just kind of curious if there was a special reason for the lengths they chose, since it seems different from most companies

Swing by the shop after SIA. We'll have our new touring ski mounted up with some demo rads and skins ready to take out for a day. It is similar to a Chairman. 108 mm under foot, 184 cm length, 1650 g per ski.

Dude get them. THEY COST 300$ right now.

Could you work out a deal with your friends brother? Maybe get them for a cheaper price so it would be more worth it?

I would give them a medium-stiff flex. They are stiffest underfoot in the camber section. Tips and tails are rockered and quite a bit softer. They have a directional flex, so the tails are stiffer than the tips to keep from washing out on landings.

Razors remain the same besides the graphic. We added a 177 cm length in the Razor 95 and also added the Razor 105 to fill the gap between the 95 and 115 for an all mountain park ski.
