Inauguration and Terrorism

My school, just outside DC, has inauguration day off, and we are all trucked into DC to watch it..
Now, i've been thinking, wouldnt a terrorist attack be just perfect for that moment? i mean come on, would it really be that hard? Sure, the security will be tight around the president, and the areas closer to the white house, but what about surrounding areas where just as many people will be (at least 500 due to our school)...

A R.A.P .50 Cal sniper rifle can shoot accurately at over 8000 feet. If you know what you're doing that is.

As disturbing as that cult-of-the-leader mentality sounds, there's very little that can be done to prepare for such an attack beyond the levels of security that are always in place at these events...

I hope al qaeda doesn't send another tsunami... maybe they're getting more accurate with that thing.

On a side note, with a thermal scope you could kill the president in his office from across the street with a .50 cal aswell.
