Competition Entries for Free (Mountain Dew Urban Ski & Snowboard Festival)

Any competitors in the 4-Corners area looking for some paid entries? We're looking for you.

Just a little confused here, is this like a film festival competition for who has the best full part or like an urban rail jam? I'm intrigued.

Hey John,

It's an Urban Rail Jam for skiers and boarders and organized into age class. A portion of Downtown Flagstaff is closed down for the contest. Previous years the snow has been a challenge, but this year the snow has been falling and it will set up for good conditions and eliminating road rash. The features get better every year and with the number of sponsors behind it this year it will be pretty tight.

The level of the competition ranges, but it's proves to be a great place for an elite few to show off and charge up the crowds. Top 12 men and top 6 women per class move on to the final event. Purse is relatively small, but hey you do this for the love, right?

The "Festival" portion is dubbed for the brands showing off their gear, live music, etc, etc. Flagstaff is a great host, since this is a college town with a chill vibe.

The competitors whose entry fees we pay will be filmed all day and interviewed. They will be featured in an upcoming release of ski doc being released at the end of the season. Some good exposure especially if you're local to the 4-corners and are looking for some creds.

It sounds really fun! I'm in Minnesota so definitely I won't be making the trip, I was just curious as to what it was. I wish there were more events like this. Best of luck to you in finding riders!
