GoPro Issue

So today when I got home from skiing I noticed a dark blurry dot in the middle of the recording. I didnt know exactly what caused it so I cleaned off both the lens and the case of my GoPro and when I did I noticed that there is a white spec inside of the lens... I have no idea how it got there and no idea how to get it out. Could this possibly be a manufacturing error? If anyone could reply with suggestions, or if they have had this problem and know how to fix it, it would be great thanks.









(I swear that it isnt a glare. kinda hard to get ride of the glare entirely, but the white dot I pointed out is actually inside the lens)

seems to me like you have a chip on the lense. i had a similar thing happen but it turned out to be lint stuck in between the case and the lense. im sure youve tried gently cleaning it, but i would maybe contact gopro A. for a replacement ( explain to them what happened) B. if you didnt do the damage ( or you say its underneath the actual lense?) see if they'll warranty it

Yeah there defiantly isnt a chip in it, it is completely smooth on the outside. I was thinking it was lint, but when I shake it, it doesnt move at all. just stays in the same place.

you sure it isn't like fogged up on the inside? If it's a blurry dot it could well be but hard to tell from the photos. Keep it in a warm + dry place for a bit and see what happens
