Replying to Swix CH/ CH*X vs LF/ LF*X wax (pow skis, not racing)

So I have been waxing my skis for 4/5 seasons now but since I have only had beaten up park skis I have just used cheap Swix CH wax. This year I got my first pair of pow skis and even tho they are old (08/09 line sfb) the bases are in pretty good shape so now that its time to get some more wax I'm considering buying a couple blocks with lf wax.
What Im wondering is how much different you guys actually feel between the Swix CH and LF waxes when skiing powder?
Also I see that swix has upgraded their ch/lf wax line so I was wondering if the different is noticeable and if so on what waxes are the improvements worth paying extra for?
I will stick to ch wax on my park skis as they are to beaten up to justify getting expensive wax for.
