Best Minnesota urban spots

Looking to go urban skiing. If you know any good urban skiing spots preferably in or near the twin cities let me know, Also if you have any tips for a skier new to urban that would be great.

amateurskibumif you have any tips for a skier new to urban that would be great.


shovel the stairs
build the lip on the inside of the rails, not the outside
bring water/salt for the lip
dont be a pussy, youre gonna fall and you will get hurt
if you have an old pair of skis use em, they will get trashed
have a crew
always film
be respectful if you get kicked
shovel away lip and sidewalk when youre done

dont ask people for their spots, no one is gonna give em up. if you cant find spots in minneapolis/st paul then you dont deserve to hit handrails

literally EVERYWHERE. I can walk like 4 blocks to like 8 spots.

hit that:


tips: good bungees are worth it, don't film/hit if the lighting is shite, just do it early in the morning.
make sure that the rail/ledge/box is smoothened. Don't hit aluminum.

There's a real nice down rail to learn on in chaska by the river :) or just drive around the burbs there everywhere

Watch less. A lot of the spots are from Duluth and the Minneapolis region.

TIPS:
Crew over 4 under 7. You dont want a huge crew but it sucks having just a few people.
It sucks at times. You take hours at times to get it all set up and can sometimes get like 5 solid shots.
Be nice, and clean up.
Have plenty of money, anything can happen. You may just order pizza, or you may need to pay your way out of prison in an unknown country.
Bungee Banshee is key at most spots.
DFDs are a lot sharper and will kick you harder than most in the park so be ready.
