I personally don't know what to make out of this, now with more people coming out some or the women might just have accused him for the attention or the money. What are your thoughts?

Like Phylicia said all these allegations are a well orchestrated conspiracy. One of the women said she didn't come forward because she was afraid no one would believe her. Give me a break.

Well the quote got removed but this is my response-

I'm not saying that his alleged actions were in anyway justified or morally right. However I feel if these women wanted retribution then they should have went to the police right a way and said "HEY I WAS RAPED BY BILL COSBY!" Sure people may have been skeptical but there is this wonderful thing called the 14th Amendment that guarantees "equal protection of the laws". The man is 77 years old! I doubt any of them give a damn if he goes to prison. They are looking for money and feel given his age, it would easier to get it.


Whatever so called "Pain and suffering" these women endured over the past 35+/- years because of his alleged actions in no way entitle them them to the sum in which the seek.

I think theres a good possibility that he did maybe once... HOWEVER it doesnt make sense for no one to have come forward in the last few decades and then all of a sudden bunch of women come forward at once...

didn't have time to type out more this morning, but the sentiment still stands :P

no one is going after cosby's money, the statute of limitations is way past due for all of these women, at this point its about cosby's reputation and closure for the victims. I haven't followed this in a while because it was very much a done deal like two months ago, but last time I checked I think it was 23 women had come out saying that cosby had done something inappropriate to them, I think it was 16 that had stories that describe a date rape experience. To anyone that thinks that it is more plausible that 23 women orchestrated a plot to take down the reputation of bill cosby than some pervert went around and date raped those women, get the fuck out of your parent's basement. The world is not all unicorns and rainbows, there really are people out there that get off on this type of shit and apparently bill cosby is one of them.

As for why they didn't come forward, have any of you ever read the testimonial of a rape victim? It is a hugely traumatic and embarrassing experience and even today in 2015 the majority of rape victims do not come forward. When these events transpired, the culture as a whole was even less likely to believe the women. Several people did come forward but cosby had the money and power to silence them. Again, if you think that real word victims are not silenced due to various reasons, get the fuck out of the basement.

In 2005, Cosby paid a large settlement to a victim before the case could be brought to court.

I love it when ignorant, sheltered, middle/upper class kids kids think its fake because the women didn't come forward as soon as it happened... right, because as a woman (where most rapes go unreported anyways), there is no social stigma surrounding rape. Whenever a woman says she's been raped, everyone believes her right away and helps her out. Never has the police or men in general thought she's lying, she's a slut that now regrets it, she's going after his money etc. Never has a woman been ostracized for reporting the rape itself... not once.

Oh wait its happening here! Wow, amazering. Now imagine if they came out around when it happened- when Cosby was one of the most powerful men in show business from a career built upon being lovable and about family values.

There are recorded accounts of Janis Dickenson (one of the women who recently claimed to have been raped by Bill) stating years ago that while she cannot go into details, Cosby loved to take advantage of women just getting out of rehab and if she mentioned what happened, she would face retaliation from Cosby's agency.

Multiple other women have reported to been threatened in the same manner not from Crosby, but from his agency and people. He was one of the most powerful men in show business for a while, what makes you think some random women would believe they have a chance in actually bringing this guy up on charges?

yeah when more than one person wants to take up a lawsuit against one group, person, etc. it becomes a class action lawsuit. Like for example if it was illegal to be a grade-a cunt to a person you don't even know, half this website would probably qualify to take up a class action lawsuit against jennifergarner

its a part of his set that happened a while back that someone recorded on their phone, then people picked up on it a few months after this initially happened, then the fire was way too out of control at this point to contain it. Too many potential victims coming out. Even if he is innocent, its going to take decades before he is seen as he was before, and he will probably be dead by then.


honestly I don't think Hannibal expected this much blowback from one single joke. he is just throwin shit up to see what sticks like most comics do.
