Photos won't upload

Fuck sorry guys this is probably due to a tiny URL change we made today. I've notified the team and it will get solved early tomorrow.

Not sure if this is the right place or it deserves another thread - but whenever I upload photos to NS, it shows up as finished and in my media but it never goes through to the latest photo stream. Can someone help? Cheers

This has been a long running problem for me, ever since I joined NS. I uploaded a photo a couple of days ago that I can see in the 'Latest' feed (awesome!) but a photo I uploaded earlier today doesn't show up for me in the latest feed (despite refreshing the page, etc.), although it shows up in the summer feed. Any ideas? Am I being retarded about something?

Ok, so the pictures I am trying to upload aren't working. I've tried to upload a picture numerous times

Here's the story of what has happened numerous times without fail

I go to upload a picture

There we go! Found my picture and now it's loading...

Now I wait....

Now, the picture is done after waiting a while. Here is where the problem begins. The little box doesn't show up to add your info. Never does. I have waited like 10 min and nothing happens.

I have tried to upload more than one, just one, having picture on desktop, in folders. No idea what is wrong. The picture IS INFACT less than 50 MB
To make matters weirder, I got these screenshots to work and upload, but not the pictures I wanted...


Another glitch is with the uploading a new user profile pic

I click on the change profile pic button

Selected a picture, now it's loading

It's done now, ok, pretty normal

Aaaaand here is where the problem arises

Nothing happens! The area where a new profile pic would be is now a generic picture file icon, and there is nothing there. Looking into the HTML code, it is just a link to that little file picture. The picture does NOT load after refreshing, it actually disappears and has no picture at all.


So NS, if this is what you guys are dealing with, you are not alone

BREAKING NEWS!

Newschoolers does not like certain types of images! One of them being Bitmap, the format I was trying to upload in.

So far, I know that PNG is valid when uploading. Converting the image will allow it to upload!
