Whistler trip 2k15

Im going to Whistler/Blackcomb with a couple of my buddies this February and we have never been there before. I wanted to know where some decent stuff is at to make a little booter to session, and just any other advice for the trip. k+ for any good advice.

if you're only there for a few days, ski the mountain. you can build a little booter anywhere, you're at the resort with the most skiable terrain on the continent... use it

Can anyone tell me which of these general areas will be closest to the nightlife midweek? Gonna go from Sunday to Friday. Need to book an unpublished rate to be able to afford it but can get slopeside 3 or 3.5 for about 100 bucks a night.

depends what hotel. upper village/blackcomb could like a 5-20 minute walk to the village. it might not be the closest to the clubs, but way closer to the lifts. whistler village south is probably the closest to the nightlife unless you mean creekside, then go with whistler north.

heres a few places that are usually good the nights you'll be in town. get there around 10 if you don't want to stand in line forever.

Sunday: Moe Joes-club
Monday: Maxx Fish-club
Tuesday: Tapleys-bar w/ live music
Thursday: Garfs-bar/club

Apart from a couple of pow days the conditions have been... not great. Very wet, not a lot of accumulation followed by clear and cold for a week or two. The cycle seems to be on repeat for the past few weeks.

Hoping it'll improve by Feb.
