Skiing Sweatshirt

So, NS, I am deciding on a sweatshirt to ski in. I have narrowed it down to the Saga riding pullover or the Orage stack. Any suggestions? Has anyone worn these and has comments? Which one ns?

Ive got both. They fit great and look better. Saga one is a bit thicker than the Orage one. However, the DWR coating is not spectacular on either. The Stack one is a bit better, but nothing compared to an Under Armour Storm pullover I have.

Anyways, both are dope and I would definitely recommend getting them. Just dont expect too much in terms of water repellency.

Today maybe, but I went skiing over Xmas break and it was 34 one of the days. I have a great coat, but it sucks on warm days. Sometimes I want a sweatshirt for warm(er) days and spring skiing.

What is the deal with the two pockets? Is that a gimmick or is it useful? Thanks for the reply.

Honestly I've found it pretty helpful. One of the pockets is deep enough so that whatever you put in it wont fall out while riding.

But if you're thinking of just getting one I'd go with the Saga one. The zip kangaroo pouch has a media pocket in it, making it a lot more useful than the Stack pockets.

I've heard covering yourself in smuckers and peanut butter is the new trend and keeps ya warm. I'd say save your money, by doing so you also have a tasty snack on the lift!

coat, you will freeze yo ass off boy! Trust me, keeping the core warm is key to staying warm. If you wear a cotton sweatshirt, you will get wet, you will get cold, because you are cold you will complain, non of your friends will want to ski with you, because non of your friends will want to ski with you because of the bitchness you will have no fun and become even more bitchy. Don't be bitchy, buy a coat man.

im down with wearing sweatshirts skiing, as long as you layer up anything can be warm enough.

now call me a hipster but im not a huge fan of the typical ski company sweatshirts you see being worn. If you're going to wear a sweatshirt find something unique, otherwise just wear a jacket.

orage stack hands down been riding in it for at least 15 days. It holds up with layering so on that note get it but like someone else said their not water repellent so if its dumping out your fucked.
