MinggI had saved money since the age of about 11 to buy a car when I was 16/17. I ended up buying my 2012 wrangler for 19,000 in full. I found it at a dealer and bought it on the spot. It doesn't seem so bad, but a few months later I realized I should have bought an older jeep and spent about 5-6k less and saved that for college, an apartment, or for some mods on my jeep. I definitely wish I would have put more thought into that, but you life and learn.


I think we can both agree you shoulda bought a 4 door jeep.


I bought a 20 dollar bag of pistachios the other day. I didnt realize pistachios were so expensive. I dont even like pistachios that much.

rtl32120$ (originally $300) Columbia Tech shell. "waterproof" and "breathable" yet absorbs water like cotton and traps it inside worse then a plastic poncho. Shit screwed me over in a storm is the Adirondacks... Never EVER buy a jacket from a clearance sale that doesn't have *k/*k ratings and claims "waterproof and breathable" and plan to use it outside.

Or columbia shells in the first place.


I think you may be wearing it inside out...

After doing a small amount of...umm we'll call it "fun stuff", i was at a lake about an hour outside of the city... and we decided we need more of the "fun stuff"(because there is never enough haha). So we etransferred the delivery man 800 dollars. Because to drive an hour there was a large minimum. Haha needless to say it was a fun night. But also one of the dumbest purchases i've ever made.

One time I was drunk thought how rad it would be taking my shoes off like a boss on an ottoman so i went and bought this expensive antique ottoman for my trash apartment and now its almost the size of my bed and looks so out of place.

Not a story about me, but made me think of a friend:
So this kid goes to China with his school and buys a fucking dog. Shit is expensive too, but he ended up having to give it back because the school wouldn't let him have it. I guess the kid has bought other dumb shit too

Worst impulse buy for me was probably when I went into a gem shop and tried buying everything. Ended up with loads of rocks 'n' crystals and empty pockets. Also ended up losing half of them, pretty shitty.

I bought a pair of line Mr pollard opus for 200 once and have yet to ski them in powder but hey I couldn't pass that deal up. I also make shitty impulse buys at the grocery store everyone I go. Which is usually some delicious looking frozen thing that taste like cardboard.

A calendar made from pieces of paper obviously torn by hand with dates written on them in sloppy chinese/japanese in red and green ink stuck to a piece of wood with point sides and a couple of nails sticking out of them.
This isn't even the worst part.
I bought it at 3 am after a heavy night drinking out with my friends from a random guy who was on serious drugs and tried to hit me more than once.
And all of this for the price of 5 euros.
Not that bad actually.

was super baked and thought it would be rad to scratch. buddies older brother was selling them for $250 and was sold! got home and tried to scratch and realized its really hard with shitty tables and non hip hop records so they never got used ever again. regret that to this day.

I bought 200+ knives(/swords/daggers) of a late night infomercial...you may know the one.
It was after surgery and I had insomnia for 2 weeks and would watch that fool slangin knives like, 'I could make so much money!'
Did make my money back, still have lots of low quality knives...anyone need a keychain knife or a wildlife picture knife, or one that says 'law enforcement' on the blade? Locks don't work and they don't stay sharp...good deal!

I was super hung over getting to the mountain last week and it was absolutely gorgeous, like 65 and sunny and I was pissed that I got there at 2 when the mountain closes at 4. Took a run before realizing my boots were soaked so I ran in and bought brand new boots. I'm lucky I work retail at the mountain and get 40% off but still shit ain't cheap.
