Can you use powder skis in the park?

Park_RangerYo - does anyone remember a European kid that made a bunch of park edits while riding on the Salomon Rocker 2. This was in like 2011/2012, when I believe the Rocker 2 was like 120cm underfoot and was built to be a true pow ski, not the all mountain free ride ski that we know it as today.

Anyone remember this? His edits kind of took NS by storm when they first dropped... kid was shredding rails and stuff with some big ass skis on.

I rip park on my Solomon rkr2's with about a 115 waist. Anything over a 720 gets a little sketchy but they work.

been riding some 97 width nordica soul riders in the park and they've been great. feel way more confident sliding difficult/kinky rails because of the surface area on em. its really that much easier for me to nose press/tailpress on rails. 97 isn't super big, yet you can kinda feel the extra weight when doing spins past 540. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. anything past 100 seems too wide Imo. Really boils down to what you like to do I the park. Soul riders are a true gem. Shoutout Kieran mcviegh

No, that isn't it. This kid was a park skier, he was just using massive pow skis

Those are unnecessarily huge for someone 5’ 6”. Maybe get something about your height if you want longer, prob like a 170.
