If you want a cheaper hobby, buy a road bike. It's a cost at the beginning, but it's free after buy the bike itself.
If you want an even cheaper hobby, buy some hemp and start making stuff. Start with necklaces and move on to belts and other things. You can collect glass beads, which are sick.
The cheapest still would be getting a library card, and reading. It's great.
