i'm deciding between a couple pairs of skis punx and domains. I'd like to know anything you know about them. I haven't heard great things about the durability of the punx, and i've heard the domains are a little softer. I'm doing about 70 30 rails and jumps, it'll be purely a park ski, I'm 6 1" 185 pounds. Basically i'm looking for a medium soft ski that's light and durable, if you know of any others that are good let me know, i'd greatly appreciate it.

The k2 Domain is softer than the Atomic Punx and features a full rocker profile (jib rocker: Rocker/Flat/Rocker) making it quite playful and great for jibbing around in the park. It has early rise in the tip and tail and no camber underfoot. So the rocker makes for easy initiation as well as versatility and agility, which is great for butters, ollies and predictable pop. The domain also has a symmetrical flex and dimensions so skiing switch is easy. Moreover, the Domain features thicker edges than the Atomic Punx and rivets for added durability, which in turn makes it heavier than the Punx.
I have heard that the domain has been faulty in some incidences and has delamed and cracked despite k2’s bombproof reputation with such skis as the recoils.
The Atomic Punx has a narrower waist width than the Domain and features symmetrical dimensions so skiing switch is easy. It is stiffer than the Domains but by no means stiff. It also features camber underfoot with slight early rise in the tip and tail (Rocker:10%/Camber/Rocker:10%). The one piece sidewall will give you a playful feeling in the tip and tail, with a vertical sidewall underfoot that will give you the perfect flex, shock absorbing, and extra durability. Because of the camber the Punx will be poppier than the Domain, have better control, edge hold and rebound.
Overall, if you are jibbing around I would get the Domains, however because of your large stature and weight you might like the Punx better as they feature a medium flex and will be much better on larger jumps and features than the domains.

at my mountain they really only have 30 foot jumps or smaller, it's not a huge set up so do you think the domain would be alright for that? i do like to land switch but i don't ordinarily land front or back seat, would the domains be good for that kind of stuff?

I have the 2013 domains and I absolutely love them, they are buttery and I feel that they are much funnier on rails. But on jumps about 20-30 feet I sometimes wash out, but that might just be because I'm not landing right
