207C'mon man this I ski at Sunday River so I can discern the infactual statements like the press persons name isn't right but at the end it says "This is the first death at Sunday River Resort since an inbound avalanche killed 200 skiers on the back side of the resort in January 2012."
Sunday River has a vertical of 2,340 ft and the top elevation is 3,100ft there are no avalanches and if there was one that killed 200 skiers it would have made world headlines.
Yes, I suspected that it was a fake. I skimmed the article and missed the part about the avalanche killing 200 skiers. If they had left that out, the whole thing would have been plausible. Surprised that they didn't have it occur during the Dumont Cup.
