Boots?

Im looking at getting a snowboard so that when I go up with shitty skiers im not bored as fuck.

Does bootfitting in snowboarding matter like 95% of NS exaggerates it to be in skiing? Especially for a rookie. Ive rented a few times, but I want my own. Can I go try some on and buy the comfy ones?

Bootfitting is not as big of a deal in boarding. Still wanna go a bit tighter for pack out initially, and I always recommend a footbed. Just go tryem on. Just remember pack out so get em snug. Im a big fan of the vans hi-standard for a basic cheap boot thats super durable and rather soft for playing around. Dont go dc they suck.

Said that wrong kinda? I think bootfit is always important. No matter what sort of footwear a bad fits a bad fit. But you dont necessarily need an industry pro to decide on a good snowboard boot, a second opinion never hurts though. And most time talking to someone at a shop is a good way to narrow down what your looking at.

No need for boot fitting in boarding.

I recommend 32 boots. Bought a pair in 06 and haven't ridden anything else since. BEst boots $ can buy imo. Also a nice varied price range.Good to the point where they replace the need for other boots on mountain. They actually used to sell a boot called the liftie.

Worth checking out. I'm rocking the lashed right now.

boots size does not require a bootfitter, if they support your ankle, the binding should do the rest.

Thirtytwos are by far the best. Also go for the real laces. Boa systems are easy to break and expensive to repair and same with speed laces.
