What would you do with $20,000.00?

I will be receiving $20,000.00 from the NAVY as a signing bonus and am wondering what you would spend it on? I currently do not have a car, so I am planning on getting/building a nice land rover like the following and saving the leftover money. What would you do with $20,000.00?

uh, I think you'll need more than 20,000 for a land rover like that, but thats just me. I'd save it. If you're in the navy, will you really be able to use your car very much? more likely you should invest it for when you can spend it on something you'll enjoy. like trips home or vacations

No I wont be going overseas or anything! I will be a NAVY Dentist, stationed in a NAVY base here in the states. And I've been researching these Land Rovers and it will cost roughly $12,500.00 when it's all said and done.

I would probably put half of it towards my student loan and then maybe use a bunch to go skiing in Japan for a week or two.

OR

If I was more responsible, I would use it towards a downpayment on a house.

I'd get that Land Rover then save the left over money to fix up that Land Rover. I love them, but the Discovery's weren't exactly the most reliable cars out there.

put that shit away until i'm out of the navy...downpayment on a house...although you'll probably qualify for some 0 down loans through the FHA.....

fuck a car, you're gonna be on a boat for a couple of years, right?

buy bulk refrigerant from china, for 20,000 a shipping container, sell it for 50 bucks a bottle, make a cool 80,000, just throwing it out there
