Resorts park or the community a deciding factor?

I've been thinking about this recently a lot. In my current situation I could ski a mountain that has a decent park, or I can ski a mountain with a shitty park but one of the best communities in the park I've experienced so far.
I've been choosing the community over the better park so far. I'd love to hear what some of your guys opinions on this are so lets hear them.

Kinda similar - but different. For years my home base was a hill that had great terrain and amazing community - but lacked snowfall compared to everywhere else within a day's drive. I eventually had to leave the vibes for the snow. 3 years later I still miss the place dearly and cost often, but doni regret my decision to leave? Nope!
I'm sure the ghetto downtown with its homeless crackheads can have a nice community feel - but the crack probably sucks compared to the stuff they smoke up ontop of the hill across town. If you're in it for the skiing, you gotta be where the skiing is good.
