I just rode in the TC Van for 8 hours.

Sup NS. This is a claim thread. I went the Sugarbush stop of the NS Tell A Friend Tour hosted by Andy Parry. I was excited to make the drive and check it out.

I woke up at 5AM then drove 3.5 hours from near Albany, NY to go to Sugarbush today. Andy Parry, Jake Doan, Ian Compton, Evan Williams, Ross Imburgia were all there along with some local line skiers- Charlie Dayton and Kevin Merchant. I had met most of these guys before but it was cool to see them out there and really cool to see how hyped the mini shredders were about it.

Anyway, I met Andy because I was supposed to film a little at this stop for him and put something together. After talking for a bit he invited me to head to PA with him since he didn't have anyone filming at Big Boulder or Ski Roundtop tomorrow and the next day.

So after a fun day of skiing, some pizza, and lotta free stuff tossed out I took some provisions from my car and got in the van with Andy, Ross, and Kevin to head to PA during the storm we had come through. Highlights of the drive include an early stop at Wendy's, reading the writing all over the inside of the bus, seeing a car spin out on the highway right in front of us, listening to a podcast about a Baltimore murder in 1999, and making it to PA safely (thanks Andy).

The main goal of this trip for me is to get Andy to do lip on- hippy killer- blind 2. What else should I try to film the next few days?

Hope to see some of you at Big Boulder or Ski Roundtop, and maybe Ski Sundown or Ski Butternut in the coming week.

Serial is the most popular NPR program ever, and is the most successful radio show since radio shows were still a thing.

Hey!
So yesterday we left Big Boulder in the AM to head for Ski Roundtop. We took advantage of the continental breakfast and got on the road about an hour later than we planned. Will will be happy to know that we got an oil change in Harrisburg on the way. The first shop we went to didnt have a garage big enough for the van to drive into. We were about half way in and started scraping the ceiling. Had to pull out and got to a different spot where we were then successful.

Then on to ski roundtop which was a great time. My arms are so sore from lapping the J-bar all night and trying to lip on blind two every feature in the park. Ross couldn't ski because of a lil shoulder injurt but he should be ok by the time we get to WV. The kids the showed up were killing it, you can tell they get to lap that park often. Most need a little work on their lip on blind 2s tho. Met some great people. Taught a homie that to sag a pair of saga pants optimally you need to unbutton them. Then after skiing we crashed at Matt Stambaugh Media's house. His wife left 4 minutes after we showed up and she said she was gonna stay at a friends for the night lol. Andy smells THAT bad.

We left PA this morning to head back up to VT. Finished Serial. No comment on that. We stopped in Albany NY for wings at a place called Ralph's. they were so good. Made it to Killington about an hour ago and planning on braving the negative temperatures tomorrow for some more skiing!
