Best lenses for east coast?

What's up guys I'm about to pick up some Electric eg2s and I'm not sure what lens color to get. I'm thinking about getting silver chrome because they seem about right for the conditions and I love the mirror lenses. Any advice would be appreciated since I've been using orange ones my whole life and it's time for a goddamn change

it all depends on what weather you get. If you get tons of sun and little cloudiness the go for a something with a low VLT but if you get the opposite you would get a lens with more of a higher VLT.

I would consider investing in two lenses. I'm sure you already know but East Coast weather is changing all the time. I would get one with a low VLT and one with a high VLT. You could get one in the middle, which would be better than skiing in bad weather with a low VLT lens, but that also means it not going to be completely perfect in either types of weather.

My eyes are very sensitive to light so I pretty much always stick with my Sol-X lenses unless I'm night skiing.

I got goggles with a red chrome lens for christmas and i love them. Ive used them almost every day since then. They are optimized for cloudy low light days but Ive used then on a blue bird day and i thought they did great. When you put the goggles on, they dont tint your view like darker lenses do but they definately take away the suns intensity. I even skied into that night with the goggles on and never felt like my eyes were being strained. Hope that helped fellow east coaster!

Awesome guys thanks for all the help but I decided to stick with the silver chrome although the red chrome sounds great too and if I have any difficulties I'll just invest in another lens. Time to ski the east

Recently switched from fire lense (cool factor 10/10) to silver/black chrome. Best decision ever. Fire was way to dark for flat light /cloudy days.

yellow all the time for night skiing and seeing details in the snow like death cookies and stumps in the trees.
