Memory Card help

So I just bought a PNY 64GB Elite Performance 90mb/s card and I'm trying to put ML on it like all my other cards have. I formatted the card and then put it in my card reader on my desktop and it asks me to format it or else I can't access it but when I try formatting on my computer I'm only getting a 64kb format option so it can't be formatted or is there a way around this? I don't need to format it on my laptop but all my editing is done on my desktop. Anyone have any solutions?

Maybe try formatting it in camera and then just put it in your laptop and format it again? Youll find out if the problem lies in the card if it wont format on your camera

I found the problem I believe. The card reader doesn't support 64gb cards. My laptop built in reader does but when I tried the plugging the reader into my laptop and trying accessing the card, it asked me to format it.
