NS Community Band

So I have been sitting on and idea I had a few months ago. Just have been kinda thinking out the details in my own head every now and then. Wondering if it would actually work or if it would just be another failed attempt at trying to organize a community project in NS.

My idea is fairly simple, but comes with a lot of boundaries that having a band in your own town doesn't have. As in not being able to meet up face to face for practicing or whatever. The way I see it is that with the technology we have now a days it is completely possible. There's skype, tons of free recording software. It's simple to grab stuff that will help with recording instruments to your personal computer.

Anyone think this could be a good idea in theory and would work. Do you think that maybe it could be done, but no one would be willing to put in the effort?

I wanna hear it all.



I'm going to throw it out there that I wouldn't even mind if there were no set members in the group and if anyone in NS could do what they can to make songs. So like say 5 NS members make their own song while another 5 Work on a completely different song.


Another thing I thought I would mention is that this is all in theory and was mainly bringing everything I have thought of to light just so the rest of NS can decide on what we should do, if anything.

I know there are NSers who have musical talent, and I think this could be a great opportunity for a bunch of members to come together and create something together.



PS, I know this should probably go in media and arts, but M&A gets less traffic.
