Powder Ski Size

I am 6ft 175lbs and have been skiing my entire life. Is a 192 Salomon Rocker 2 122 too long to ski playfully in the trees or should I go shorter?

Go big or go home. But seriously you should be fine, i am pretty much your exact size, and I ride 194 new lifes for my pow sticks.

New lifes have more rocker tho, but still OP should be fine.

If you know youre going to be in trees a lot, going shorter would make sense. Depending on where you ski, the 192 rocker 122 could work though.


Go with this years 185 Bentchetler. Its still as playful as ever, but they stiffened it up from previous years, to handle more all mountain conditions.

They will be great! I'm 5'11" and 155lbs riding 192 bentchetlers for powder. I love them.

I'm your same specs and would never consider going shorter than 190 for a pow stick, but it's a lot of personal preference. that being said if your technically strong then a rocker 2 192 will be your bitch and will rarely feel long. especially if you mount fairly centered.
