Steamboat is pretty flat so you should be fine.

there really isnt THAT much off piste skiing, and its not too deep either. my TM's were more than fine..

if you do the catskiing tour, they give everyone powder skis so that your day is complete! (and the skis are nice, too)

sorry if i sound like a total dumbass but i've never been to colorado or anywheres othen then the east for that matter and from what i saw in impact steamboat has some deep snow.
