I used to breed some tropical freshwater stuff when I was in around 4th and 5th grade. Nothing compared to saltwater but I would have around 30-70 fry at any given time! I had aspirations to move into the saltwater world but life and sports got in the way.

That reminds me of this time we were up on Rainy Lake for some reason. I was with my 6 year old cousin about 20 feet from the boarder line fishing. We were just minding our own buisness when we must had drifted over the line to the Canadian side. Of coarse boarder patrol was right on my ass and promptly told me what I did wrong. While I was talking to him my cousin ventured into our minnow bucket and decided it would be best to and I quote "Let the little fishs be with their mommy's and daddy's in the big lake". I turned around and saw what he was doing after the patrol officer started laughing his ass off. So as a result we had to drive 7 miles into shore to get new bait but I say it was worth it.

55 gal freshwater tank with koi and goldfish. Aquaponics, mint and basil keep the water clean, no water changes or filters to maintain

I have a 5g reef tank in my room now. Some soft and hard corals, macroalgae, and some inverts. Lookin to add a clown and a few shrimp soon. I've had all sorts of tanks from 2.5g up to a few hundred gallons in the past

Aquaponics is dope, are you growing in hydroton or what? Do you use a bell syphon?

Never gave two shits about fish or aquariums until about a year ago. Got a bit too high and went to walmart and came home with some goldfish. One thing led to another and now have a 10, 36 and 75 gallon freshwater tanks. 36 has a bunch of African cichlids and the 75 has a couple badass south/central american cichlids. Sorta consider it a quarterlife crisis
