When the lift attendent decides to take a break while I'm waiting to get on the lift, then yells at me for not waiting for him to get his slow ass over where he is suppose to be so he can pretend he is doing something.

speed control/mountain safety. Especially in Whistler, just waiting outside the park. I'm okay with them if its a super crowded green run on a saturday, but when there just standing there targeting you because you have baggy outerwear, and taking you pass, that pisses me off more than anything.

When dad's let their 3 year Olds pizza up a jump, down the lip, and then walk to get over the knuckle. Your ruining the lip, taking forever, and going to get hurt if someone doesn't see you. Stop. There's a little kid park for learning.

When people snake across the entire run so you can't get through

When kids sit in front of a feature for hours

When park rats rage at kids who aren't as good as them

When the park crew takes hours for a single feature. One time when I was doing shredding this one guy was just taking his shovel and making lines in the snow like 50 feet from a feature to it.

When your just hitting some side hits and people freak out super sacastically.

tourists who tell me what to do in my homeresort... like seriously if you can't deal with getting sneaked if you don't move just gtfo

also snowboarders always stepping on my skis.

little kids snaking me when I approach rails and then just go straight but tryna bdog the fuck out when they go switch out haha

familys mindlessly cruisin through the park

last but not least snowboarders just going full speed not paying any respect to filmers (experienced this one a lot today, these fucking morons just couldn't slow down the least bit even if they saw me from the top of the park standing there filming my bud)



...sorry for the hate on snowboarders but where I ski (Laax, CH), most of them are just fucking arrogant bitches

I really don't mind at all when people hike, until they fuck up my flow to get their hit in. If you are hiking for one hit, don't expect people to pause their runs so you can hit said feature

this. I hike a lot but I let hotlappers always go first.

nothing wrong with hiking a feature to get a trick you want or to learn a trick. it's a more ambitious way of fun. but fun.

I cannot express my hate towards those ignorant races fucks. Today i was just asking down into the park and this racer came fucking mach 10, 2 feet away from me without even yelling at me or saying shit. Also i saw a racing couch come down and knocked the fuck out of some chick and all he said was a quick sorry and ran off. I check back on her and the racer broke her neck and leg, maybe her wrist. They need to stay the fuck off of leisure runs or go back to their bedrooms shove their skis up their asses.

Fuck people who revert every time as soon as they land when there is no need to- go for it if you need speed or plan on hitting the next poorly spaced feature forward. Otherwise you're making the park icy and you will deservingly die in spring slush. Not a huge fan of switch pizzas either. Learning to ski switch isn't terribly hard but it makes things look better and keeps things from getting super icy mid season.

Yeah that and parents with their kids. But snowboarders are some of the worst offenders.

I can't stand when people take their unexperienced kids with them on lifts but don't help them on at all. Either the liftie has to help or has to slow/stop the lift. Or tourists that can barely ride going into the park.

I'm a lifty and a couple weekends ago a dad and 2 of his kids were coming up to the chair. He led his kids out really late. He hesitated pretty bad but got out to the line on him. Both of his kids got knocked over by the chair and I ran out to help the lifty who was loading. I heard the dad go "Uhh. What happened?" All ignorant and shit. Like what the fuck do you think happened? You didn't ride out to the chair right and your kids followed you and didn't make it. Fucking retard. People should learn how to do this shit before taking their kids out.

When there is a long rope queue setup for the lift entrance but no one is in it so you duck or take the ski lesson entrance so you don't have to hike all the way around and then get yelled at by patrol or a liftie.

Most of the time nobody cares, but there is always a day when someone is on a power trip or in a bad mood and feels like taking it out on the person in baggy clothing. I say this because often an old man skier will do the same thing in front of me and not a word is said to him.

Every time. Also I nutted a rail super hard trying to do my first blind swap and all my friends came over, blocked off the lip to the rail and made sure I was okay. This patrol bitch looked over from the lift only seconds later and screamed at us to get out of the way of the feature. She was like Young man do you even hear me! You and your friends can't sit down there!

This weekend something happened that really pissed me off. I was hiking a rail under a chairlift and some gapers kept throwing snowballs at me every time they came up and laughed their asses off, then proceeded to come down and ride off the lip of the rail I was hiking. I mean come on? I feel that's a huge dick move, especially if you don't know the person you're throwing a snowball at.

Yeah, I was thinking about this and realized that you can just put the bar down yourself once you get on, and that way you can control the situation. No surpises.

I really dislike barless chairs, because on windy days or when the chair is swinging, stops, the person next to you is reaching into his pocket, or the seat is icy, then you could slip, or if a person is simply has too short thighs to sit comfortably (children) -- then they need the bar to hold onto.

There are MANY ways to end conversations very quickly. Basically, you have to deter or repel people away from you - through exhibiting a degree or retardation, sociopathy, neediness or general douchery. You can also just start asking personal questions, or difficult questions that make people feel dumb, or telling the person you're cold and need to rest. You can also be non-responsive, like waiting until the very last moment to respond on every reply.

There is no obligation to talk to others on a chair, nor is there a right to be left undisturbed. Personally, it's should've be that hard, but you can encounter weirdos who want something from you.

everyone thinks they are better than everyone else.
no one gives a fuck about anyone else.
people say and do things to people that they wouldnt want done to them.
pretty much everyone thinks/acts like theyre pro.
it drives me nuts.

i find the bigger more remote mountains you go to, the happier youll be.
