I have my first slope-style competition in a couple of days and i was just wondering how people get ready for these competitions. What Tricks should i incorporated in my run as well as first time tips and general knowledge i should know for this comp. I am 16 years old and have been skiing for five years now so i know my ropes in a terrain park just not a slope-style competition.

Act like its another lap in the park. Also try to stand out weather it be going big, being creative or mad style.

some things judges look for in slope style runs are being able to spin both ways, being able to grab and hold the grab, diversity of tricks and creativity

any one of these works:
1. 450 on
2. a double or a massive single flip
3. transfer from the lip of one rail to a completely different one
4. flair in table's quarter-pipe (it's been done)
5. flip on or off a rail

Stick your landings! No shakes or touches. A perfect trick isnt perfect if your landing sucks.
Relax and go have fun.

Don't pander towards the judges. Do what type of skiing you do best and you will be rewarded. That said hold your grabs as long as you can. Also try to stand out on the jibs as they allow for more creativity. Lastly go as big as you can.

Go upside down, lock onto grabs, and be steezy as fuck
All times are Eastern (-5)
