2015 NFL Playoffs

Who do you guys like for the wild card games?

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh
Cincy @ Indy

Detroit @ Dallas
Arizona @ Carolina

Without Bell, I don't think the Steelers will be too effective and the Ravens will win.
Andrew Luck is too good to lose to Dalton
Panthers will be the dumpster fire that has been the Cardinals as of late
I'm torn on the Cowboys/Lions game. Not having Suh really hurts the Lions but they are great at stopping the run, which is all Dallas does. Also the Cowboys haven't been that great at home this year.

As a Packers fan, I hope they will the Super Bowl, but I am not thrilled about the possibility of playing the Seahawks in Seattle.

The Seahawks have been absolutely lights out in the second half of the season. The defense is allowing like 6 points a game, we beat both Arizona and Carolina on the road this year. Neither of those floundering teams are coming to century link and beating us. We beat Green Bay, we barely lost to Dallas when like half the team was injured. There's a lot of reasons to think they can repeat.

I'm not saying the Packers will beat Seattle at Century Link, because I don't know if they can, but you can't put really any weight on the game in week 1. There was no way Seattle was losing that game after the ring ceremony, I don't care who they played. Also the Packers started a rookie center who had only been practicing for under a week and had a horrible game plan of not throwing to Sherman at all. The rush defense has also drastically improved over the last month by switching Matthews to an inside linebacker. I know the Seahawks have changed a lot too and have gotten some players back, so I just don't think you can look too much into a game that was played nearly 4 months ago.

I cannot believe was that 2 pt try was converted. How clinton dix allows that to be caught is inexcusable, that ball hung up there forever. I cant decide if that play or the onside kick was worse though.

Yeah, remarkable how both Packers defenders decide to not even try to make a play on the ball when Wilson lobs it up there. Also amazing how the Seahawks are allowed to be offsides on their onside kick with no penalty. Hauschka's plant foot is about a yard past the ball when he kicks it. As far as I know, when most teams do that it's considered against the rules. Apparently not for the Seahawks, though.

Best game I've seen in the NFL for almost as long as I can remember, especially being a hawks fan. Wow. I'm seriously still in shock over it.

As far as the super bowl goes... I can see a Seahawks Patriots matchup but I would love to see Wilson v Luck.

Im pretty sure every kicker on every kick has their plant foot past the ball. If you didnt do that youd get no power behind your kick

just an awful showing defensively in the second half by the packers. they make a big stop with the interception, then they get a 15 second drive out of it. they threw the game away.

still, they did WAY better than i thought they would once the whole rodgers calf thing came out. rest and come back better next year.

I hate everything. Bostick can't catch a god damn ball. Ha-Ha plays amazing and then decided not to play defense on the 2 point conversion. Rodgers doesn't even get the ball in OT.

The kick was perfectly legal. The rule states everyone needs to be in bounds and behind the ball except for the holder, in the event one is needed, and the kickers planting foot. The kickers planting foot is beyond the ball on every kickoff.

You don't honestly think all of those plays at the end of the 4th and OT were somehow orchestrated by Goodell in some conspiracy to get the Seahawks back in the SB do you?

Meh, the playoff format is much better now than when a FG alone won the game. Although, I would like to see them adopt the NCAA format and give both teams the ball on the 25 going in, that would be fun to watch.

What would be the point of that though? If anything, GB is worth more money as a franchise with more history and more of a die hard fan base. You would think Goodell and the nfl would profit more off having Rogers back in it. And if your reasoning is that he wanted a close, intense game, he really didn't seem to give a damn about rigging the pats game.

People seem to love the Seahawks for some reason. He doesn't give a shit what the Pats do unless they're playing Seattle, in which case they will lose.

People in the PNW love the Seahawks but the packers are way more popular across the country. According to a survey of 390k people the packers were the second most popular franchise behind the Cowboys and the Seahawks came in at 18th.

Even if Goodell wanted Seattle to win for some reason, that would an absurd feat to pull off, especially with no questionable officiating calls. The on side kick bounced right off that dudes face, do you think that whole play was preplanned? Or kearse' 35 yard game winning td catch with the defender drapped all over him? Come on man, those plays cannot be orchestrated, it was a boring game that got super interesting and had one hell of a finish. That's all it was.

It did just get changed.

Before the new rule, ANY points would end OT...so you could get the ball and get into field goal range and end the game.

So now if you kick a field goal on the first possession the other team would get a chance to score.

I still think the NFL should adopt the college and high school over time. Each team gets to start at the 25 yard line. 4 downs to get a touchdown/field goal.

I know it just changed..... I know the old rules and the new rules for overtime. But i said both teams need to get a possesion. The new rule still allows the game to end on 1 possession. The fact that an overtime game can be decided by a coinflip is ridiculous to me. I agree that the college ot is the best route. Maybe goodell is just too proud to adopt someone elses rules. He probably thinks it makes him look inferior or some shit if he has to take ideas from elsewhere
