So I'm getting an iPhone 5s and i need a case for it and i need your guys opinions. Im looking for something more tactical like element cases but less expensive. I've looked at the ttp cases but i don't think ill get one just because of the protectiveness. Oh and if it has carbon fibre that would be a plus.
I had a G form case, its nice cause it has squishy stuff all over it so it helps to rid stress by squishing it, they claim to have dropped them from 100,000 ft and the phone is still in pristine condition but I dunno, also the squishy stuff insulates your phone in the harsh cold of winter. But after about a year of having the case it ended up shitting its self and I had to get a new case. But the squishy stuff is well worth it.
life proof for protecting, and its good for skiing because its waterproof, but if you dont really care about shock proof and water proof and stuff like that, i got a nice vans case (made by belkin) at best buy for like $30

lifeproof is a shit case when I had an iPhone 2 years ago the thing completely delaminated after like 4 months.
I've had my 5 for a little more than 2 years now with a black otterbox. Though a little beat up and bulky, it has been everywhere and through so much including skiing, camping, rain, etc. I take it out every so often when going out so its not a huge bulge in my pocket and the phone is still pristine.
get a matte finish screen protector, ive got a shitty rubber case and ive dropped my phone multiple times but no crack, screen protector saves me. and matte finish because it slides real nice
I use a lifeproof case because I need to communicate with clients with wet sandy hands at the beach but don't get one unless you need something waterproof and somewhat durable because they're stupidly expensive and the screen protector gets scratched so badly. I know the new ones have an exchangeable screen protector but the case itself is way shittier
Get a life proof and take advantage of their warranty. As soon as it starts to break, file a warranty claim and they'll most likely send you a new one. I'm on my second and I know people who have gotten 3 or 4 through warranty.
