bighomieflockYeah but sexual orientation is so irrelevant in skiing. Why do you have to look up to skiers based on details of their personal life and not the quality and style of their skiing or even the personality they portray in their edits?
I agree that it isn't relevant to skiing that said it's still relevant to people.
I know christians that are big fans of kelly clark and other christian riders.
Also if you're gay/bi, don't relate to a lot of people around you on that, get told it's wrong etc, possibly get made fun of over it, it's cool to see somebody in that spot that you can relate to. Hell, the majority of gay park skiers/riders probably isn't that high. You're talking a small percentage or a small percentage. If you're not into shopping and whatever else gay people are supposed to do it's cool to have somebody else in a sport you're into.
I don't think anyone should get a fucking trophy for being a gay skier, but you don't seem to grasp what a role model is.
