Skiing Urban Laws?

Hey, I really, really want to start up urban skiing... theres just one HUGE problem.... Im a total pansy when it comes to getting in trouble with the law. so what are some places where its less of an offense to ski and very rare to get caught at? Thanks!

PS: Is it legal to ski at a skatepark?

There's not much to it actually, if you want to urban ski, go ski some urban, just try to get the least amount of problems as you can with the law. And then grow a pair.

Ive skied at a skate park and i didnt get in trouble... if police tell you to leave just apologize and leave and you wont get in trouble

Skateparks are just parks set up for dipshits to keep them out of trouble, it may as well be legal to smoke crack at a skatepark

This is the case for any spot if anyone asks you to leave. You'll be fine if you cooperate. I've never been busted for urban and I'm thinking it's because I try to be as nice as possible to people passing by, usually they get stoked to see what I'm doing. Unless there's clearly a no trespassing sign you can't really get in trouble with the law. Also don't ski urban at homes or apartments without permission first, that's just rude.

Just go at night (the later the better) and your odds of getting caught or kicked out are less likely. Having some portable lights is pretty standard in an urban skiers kit.

Or if you are a complete pansy you could just ask if you can ski there...but don't expect don't get your hopes up.

Just go somewhere that doesn't have no trespassing signs. If it's on/around a building or other structure and the owners come out, be respectful and leave. Even if they do call the police, if you're just respectful and leave there won't be much issue. If you're really concerned, go to a park or some other public place.
